Synopsis
A group of neighbors, stranded on a farm in rural Georgia, must put aside their differences and come together in the face of a mysterious and deadly threat. Referenced in Korman Productions Deep Dive TV Podcast: Teacup on Peacock Deep Dive: S1 E1/2 “Think About the Bubbles”/”My Little Lighthouse” (2024).
The visuals were also pretty grotesque!
I wasn’t sure about the series until the end of the second episode. No spoilers, but the sound effects alone were so emotional that I was excited to see more!
I wonder what direction the series will go
The gore reminds me of the fun practical horror effects of the 80s and 90s, but when combined with the CGI, the series really comes into its own towards the end of the second episode. I think it’s totally fine for the showrunners to take their time working on the story – in the past, we gave series a lot more time when 24 episodes was the norm.
