Synopsis
The Grieving Therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she is thinking
Regardless of his training and ethics, he finds himself making a huge difference in people’s lives – including his own. The movie "Shrinking" shares their characters’ top moments from Season 1 and reveals who did the best Harrison Ford impression. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the series, Siegel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would audition people like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role
Segel told Goldstein that they should bring it to Ford first, believing that he would deny it immediately, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, which would attract interest from other major players. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but she was excited nonetheless… Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023).
Harrison Ford plays Dr
Two episodes in and this show is showing a lot of promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious and even weird at times… heartwarming in a way that most shows aren’t, just reminding the show’s community of these elements. I’m not sure if this accurately reflects the therapist’s way of dealing with problems, but it certainly gives Jason Segel a chance to think his way.
Rhodes, a boss of sorts and Jason’s mentor
I wasn’t sure how his character would work on this show, but Rhodes’ antisocial nature certainly plays into Ford’s personality, considering the more intimidating elements of his Star Wars character Han Solo fit this show like a glove. Somewhat too closely Sean (Luke Tenney) somewhat plays the role of Jimmy’s (Segel) son as he deals with his own family issues with his daughter Alice (Lucita Maxwell)… What I see here feels so bright and the possibilities are perhaps ( ?) endless when i see jimmy navigating these things. Btw, the intro theme of this show is so good, I didn’t even miss it when I watched the 2nd episode…
And the music in this show is so good
All in all, this is going to be a great show and I hope it only gets better from here on out.
