He had befriended a Dutch couple while vacationing with his wife in Tuscany
Synopsis
The family is invited to spend the entire weekend in a lonely house in the country, but as the weekend progresses, they realize that there is a dark side to the family that invited them. James McAvoy and Mackenzie Davis share which elements of their characters they found most intriguing and complement each other as they discuss their different approaches. The story is inspired by the experiences of Christian Tafdrup, director of the Danish original Speak No Evil (2022). Although the Dutch were a bit awkward socially, both couples got along well and after returning home, Tafdrup received an invitation from a Dutch family to come to Holland.
Paddy: Because you let us!
He considered it for a moment, but decided it would feel weird if he stayed with people he didn’t really know; His story for the film came about when he unleashed his darkest fantasies about what might have happened if he had agreed (although he insisted that the original Dutch couple had never given off bad vibes). In this remake, the nationalities of the two families have been changed to American and British. In the bathroom, when he washes his eyes, he has a subconjunctival hemorrhage in his left eye, in the next scene his eyes are completely clear. Ben Dalton: Why are you doing this to us?

Definitely worth seeing in the cinema. I had a lot of fun watching this movie! A slow start is never boring, as it gently hints that something terribly wrong is going on, even if you can’t quite put your finger on what it is yet.
On the contrary, it makes it more disturbing and disturbing
You and your guests want to like these characters, even if they look increasingly unpleasant, and don’t you dare be rude. I was surprised at how much humor there is here, but it doesn’t detract from the tension that builds like fire throughout the film. Without realizing it, you’ve been on the edge of your seat the whole time waiting for the inevitable to happen, but praying it wouldn’t. And then, when all hell finally breaks loose, the third act pays off.

McAvoy is incredibly good in this film and his range feeds the different emotions you experience while watching it. The film revolves around him, his ability to hook both the characters and the audience to scare them crazy. The final season of “What We Do in the Shadows” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
